A hand-knitted cardigan in which a pattern is woven into soft silk thread with hemp thread.
In Japanese, it is said "umu" to split fibers into thin pieces and connect them to make threads like hemp. The culture of "umu" is also found in the handcrafts of the Ainu people. We designed this cardigan while thinking about the preciousness of the powerful and beautiful Ainu textile "Attus", which is made by peeling the bark of a tree, taking out the fibers, and threading it with their own hands.
A pattern woven with hemp thread emerges on the base woven with beautifully colored silk thread. The delicate silk material is hand-knitted and moisturized. The "haori" on the costumes of the Ainu people is also wonderful, and the appearance of the collar and sleeves is softly expressed with knit. There is a pocket on the front body.
The combination of color of sleeve and body is available in three colors: pink&navy, lilac&ash, and navy&navy (single color).
[Attusi] "Attus" pronounced like "Attusi" is Ainu textile made by peeling the bark of a tree, taking out the fibers, and threading it with my own hands.
