Since weaving is done by creating a gap in the warp threads using a technique called empty haori, the sheer feel is embossed as a striped pattern. As it is wrinkled, it feels smooth against the skin and is comfortable to wear.

The back is rubber shirred and the length is long, so it is designed to be worn for a long time as your child grows. There are pockets on both sides.
