A bag that symbolizes the eatable that has been made since the brand started. = This size, named baby, has been reduced to 450g with the aim of reducing the weight as much as possible. This one uses white tanned cowhide, and the shoulder strap uses a rope made from fine linen by hand.
White tanning is a leather tanning method from ancient Japan. The process of rubbing the leather with rapeseed oil and salt and washing it with water is repeated many times. It is a very valuable technique that was once cut off, but was revived by a craftsman in Himeji, Hyogo Prefecture. The unique milky white color is the natural skin color of animals obtained through the white tanning process.
The raw leather is cow leather eaten in Japan. As long as we receive the lives of animals born and raised in Japan and eat them, we want to use the by-product leather carefully. The branding iron "Japanese Leather of Farmed and Wild Animals" incorporates that feeling and responsibility.
The production is done in the whole process atelier. Make an exquisitely rounded body part by molding with a machined wooden mold, finish it by hand sewing, and match it with the handle that cuts out solid wood one by one and cuts it. Since it uses natural leather and wood, the more you use it, the more glossy and tasty it becomes, and the more you use it, the more familiar it becomes to your hands and the deeper your attachment.
The bag opens when you pull the front knob toward you, and closes when you pull the shoulder strap.
